Thank You Card at Dies R Us

Hi .. How are you today? This DT project for Dies R Us showcases an Easel style Thank You card made using some die cuts, super fun layers for depth and dimension along with Scraperfect Best Glue Ever and Vintage Photo inking on all the edges..

Supply List:
Glue: ScraPerfect Best Ever Glue
Ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
Machine/ tools: Big Shot Express,
Other: Cardstock, Echo Park Alice in Wonderland, metal brad

To start you make you base for standard card of use ready made from store. The front cover of base card is then folded in half as per above. We will then cut another cardstock single base the size of the card to work on.

So using the single base cardstock you cut you pull paper and die cuts you hope to use and star cutting them. I chose a forest green background... then cut the white border edge. I pulled the floral print and used the die to cut just the border edge to match the white border where it would fit.

Here is the layers all assembled.

I then using a centre forest green border to help pop the white sentiment "Thank You".

On the inside of card I backed with forest green, added the floral print and die cut another white die cut border.

I added an extra thin strip to separate the floral from the white.

From the side now you can see the folded front cover waiting for the single white piece that we totally finished to add to it. You only add glue to the half fold and place the front single accented piece matching up the edges and keeping things straight.

The lip of the scalloped border will serve and the stopping edge to make your card stand up.
When placing into the envelope just fold it down flat and your done.
