May 2014 edition

Using more of the kit and some of the stash from the layout I made a wedding card to share also.
Above I started with a piece of white cardstock 10"x7" so it still fits in a standard 5"x7" envolope.
As above you can see the fold lines which are marked or creased at the 2 1/2" on each side.

Here is my finished card using stash, embossing, stamping, metal accent with twine tie along
with added dew drops and the great sentiment sticker which I matted and popped up.
The sentiment is added to a cardstock inked piece with stamping added.
And then I added the twine tied metal heart.

In this detailed close up you can view the dew drops on the left side and
the inked embossing on the right side.
These panels are slightly smaller than the 2 1/2" x7" on the base card.
It is fun to change up the style or design of a card without it being too hard.
Follow this and make some cards for yourself.... but have fun creating.
Thanks for visiting... see you again soon.

I also used some of my Robin's Nest rubons.

You have all month to play along by sharing a LO, 2 cards, 4 ATC's or a altered project.. using the sketch and arrows. Sure hope you'll join us... I can't wait to see what you create.

Paper House 1st DT reveal with amazing LIL' MONSTER COLLECTION

This super fun, bright and wonderful page is my first post for the amazing
The kit used is Lil' Monster Collection
and with only a few pieces of plain cardstock and some
added accents with a homemade medallion flower.... it's too cute.

When you have a print that you need to slightly float accents for photos under
just fussy cut around the pieces and insert behind them.. it's so easy to make
things fit this way and now cover the cute images on the papers.

This close up section shares all the fun circles cut with the best ever Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
Full circles or just fun different width ring circles.. some outlined with white gel pen stitches doodled on.
Super cute stickers, some brads, a tied piece of twine and the big circle was mask with gesso.

This fun section has buttons and a medallion flower with glossy accent dot accents.
Below is the instructions to making this flower with a video.

Video Tutorial making the medallion Flower... the only difference is
I used the Kreaxions #920 punched border piece to form my flower.

Thanks for visiting..come back often so I can share my Paper House Creations with you.

Just Imagine DT REVEAL for March

Today at Just Imagine Crafts is the DT REVEAL for March.
Create using theme for ST. Patrick's Day or anything green. Well I chose GREEN.
I used scraps from my monthly kit from the Robin's Nest Spring/Easter Collections
and sponsored Altered Pages image for my card.

To mount the fab image I first gesso mask the centre of the cardstock,
then Kreaxions punched the outer edges with Kreaxions Punch # 917 with insert A
on both sides and added the fun SRM sticker sentiment.

For this card I also used the Turtle Soup Card sketch from the
March Sketchathon for inspiration.

Thanks for visiting .. hope you'll stop by again soon.
